The impact of coronavirus has hit some in our community especially hard. The Billericay Foodbank has been there to support them through these unusual times and we looking to help the foodbank as they support our community.
As the demand has increased, the need for more donations has increased too.
We are collecting donations from people across the local area to deliver to Billericay Foodbank - it is so important that they keep getting supplies, so we're keen to make it as easy as possible for you to donate to their important efforts.
How will it work?
We will collect from your house, following social distancing guidelines. When you contact us in your message below, give us an email or contact number to contact you on and we will arrange a suitable time to collect your donation.
When can we collect?
Afternoon/Early Evening on most weekdays or saturdays. Let us know your preferred date/time in the feedback box below.
Which items do the foodbank need?
The priority items needed by the foodbank are:
Tins of fruit, custard, carrots, sweetcorn, spaghetti hoops. Crisps, sweets, coffee, kitchen roll, cleaning products, Dog and cat food.
The braoder list of items is:
canned meals, canned meat, canned beans, UHT milk, canned potatoes, canned vegetables, pasta sauces, soup, noodles, cereals, canned or dried desserts, tea, coffee, squash.
Nappies, sanitary products, shaving equipment, soap, shampoo, deodrant, wipes, toilet roll, toothbrushes, toothpaste, bushes and combs, flannels and sponges.
If you can't get to the shops and would prefer to donate money, let us know and we will discuss the best arrangements with you.
